Did you know every single day in February has one to three different “holidays” that people actually acknowledge and/or celebrate? That’s over 60 opportunities to market your business to the masses.
Now, some of the holidays are just goofy. For example, Feb 4th is “create a vacuum day” or Feb 11 is “don’t cry over spilled milk day.” And my personal favorite? Feb 20th, “love your pet day” – as if we needed another reason to spoil our pets.
Believe it or not, the list goes on! So, there’s no excuse not to promote your business and every reason to do it. GPP has created a couple of promotions to hopefully spark some creativity in you while you are planning your contests.
Feb. 2nd Groundhog Day Promotions
Will the ground hog see his shadow? This promotion is a play on Three Card Monte. The contestants are presented with 15 envelopes. Three of the envelopes will contain the ground hog and his shadow while the others will be filled with a winter snowflake.
The contestant will then pick three of the envelopes, and if they can match up all three ground hogs on the cards, they walk away with the grand prize.
Feb 9th National Pizza Day Promotions
It’s time to make the pizza pie. The goal is to guess the 7 toppings on the pizza in the correct order. If any finalist guesses the pizza toppings in the correct order of the pre-determined pizza toppings, the finalist scores the grand prize.

Feb 18th President’s Day Promotions
Can your George Washington crack the code? There will be a plexiglas vault with money bags inside! The contestants will have the opportunity to enter the last 6 digits on their dollar bill into the keypad. If the numbers match, the contestant receives the grand prize.
Feb 22nd National Margarita Day Promotions
Who doesn’t love these citrusy delights? Contestants will attempt to throw a lime slice into a margarita glass. If the lime stays in the glass, the contestant wins! The grand prize can be customized to cash, vehicle, jewelry, etc.
